Project Meeting M18 online 18/03/2025

- - The members of the project discussed the advancements of the project.
  - News: the project duration was extended by the Ministery for University and Research (MUR) to February 28 2026.

Conference AIM 2025 in Bressanone

- The MetroSpin project organised a special session at AIM with the title "Controlling Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya Interaction", featuring international invited speakers:

Giovanni Carlotti (University of Perugia, Italy), Reinoud Lavrijsen (TU Eindhoven, The Netherlands), Stefania Pizzini (Institut Néel, CNRS, Grenoble, France), Christopher Marrows (University of Leeds, UK)

The session took place on Tuesday, February 11 2025, afternoon.

- The members of the project presented a number of contributions:
  - 2 presentations by project members in the dedicated special session "Controlling Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya Interaction":
    - "Measuring the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and the METROSPIN project" - Prof. Giovanni Carlotti

An invited talk with the title "Comparison of techniques for the quantitative determination of the interfacial Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction in ultrathin magnetic films" was given by Dr. Michaela Kuepferling.
